Workflow Quick Start
Maps and plans one workflow, including its current state, constraints, review and data boundaries, an agreed measure, and a prioritized implementation brief. It does not include a production automation build.
Lainge / Workflow safeguards
For U.S. small and midsize businesses, safeguards start with the work itself: what information a workflow needs, which tools and people are involved, and where a person remains responsible for the next decision.
01 / Data boundaries
Map its steps, sources, tools, owners, constraints, and review points. Choose the lowest-risk useful boundary and include only the information needed for the agreed task. When discussing an early idea, describe sensitive information by category instead of sharing actual customer records.
Consider existing approved tools, reference sources, and access boundaries. A tool connection depends on approval and readiness; the plan does not assume every tool can connect or needs replacing.
02 / Governance and ownership
Identify the workflow owner and make decision points clear: who approves a change, who may correct work, how exceptions are handled, and where they go next. Agree on constraints and a useful measure with the people responsible for the process.
This keeps the proposed change connected to how the business works today. Any tool use or connection remains subject to the business’s approval and readiness.
03 / Human oversight
Choose review points around the workflow’s context and impact. Make clear what a person should check, approve, or correct, and where an uncertain result or exception should go. Human judgment stays visible wherever context or impact calls for it.
Scope follows the offer
Maps and plans one workflow, including its current state, constraints, review and data boundaries, an agreed measure, and a prioritized implementation brief. It does not include a production automation build.
Separately, one bounded improvement is exercised with its workflow owner against an agreed measure, with review and escalation boundaries considered in its scope.
A useful next step
Share the process and questions your team is working through. Lainge can help determine whether a Quick Start or a separately scoped pilot fits.
